Born in Texas on March 13, 1977, Peter Westerholm was raised in a civic-minded family that valued service and involvement in the community.

Peter began calling Nashville his home in 1995, when he came to Lipscomb University to study public administration. Following graduation, he worked for a local law firm before pursuing a Master of Public Policy at Pepperdine University. Shortly after completing his masters' degree, Peter returned to Nashville where he has worked for the past eight years with the budget and strategic planning office for the State of Tennessee.
